Beach Pictures

We enjoyed a little vacation this past week on the Isle of Palms.  Will was with us until Monday morning and then Anna Cate, Caroline, and I stayed the rest of the week with my family (minus Charlee who is in Croatia for the summer).   Thursday night I pretended I was a photographer ;) and took Anna Cate on the beach for a little photo shoot.  I took about 200 pictures, but these are my favorites!  More pictures from the week to follow~

Weekend Pics

We enjoyed a lazy summer weekend, swimming at the lake, grilling out and taking long afternoon naps!  Caroline surprised us by sleeping five straight hours the past several nights, so I'm starting to come out of my sleep deprived fog and feel somewhat rested and normal again! :)

Caroline is a little cuddle bug!  She is most content to just curl up and sleep in our arms all day long. 

Anna Cate's obsession with stickers has gone a bit too far.  While I was getting dressed on Sunday morning she managed to get into her craft box in the kitchen and had put about 50 stickers on herself, Will, and Caroline in a matter of minutes!  Just look at her face..."Who me?"

Last night, Will had Caroline waiting in Anna Cate's bed to surprise her when she came into her room to go to bed.  Anna Cate thought it was the greatest thing ever that Caroline was in her bed and kept asking if Caroline could sleep with her.  She'll be big enough for sleep overs soon enough! I can't wait to watch these two grow up together.   

Sweet Caroline

It is hard to believe we have already been home for a full week as a family of four!  Will and I have been singing the Neil Diamond song Sweet Caroline all week and now we've got Anna Cate singing it too. :) She'll just bust out with "Tweet Tarawine  Bum Bum Bum."  We died laughing the first time we realized what she was singing. 

  

Home from the hospital! (and no, we did not all mean to be wearing PINK!)  Poor Will, he is totally outnumbered now.

Anna Cate is LOVING her new role as a big sister!  Will and I are so proud of her because she has been so loving with Caroline and loves to "help" take care of her.  

She even lets Caroline hold Benny (and for those of you who know how attached Anna Cate is to her bear, this is a BIG DEAL)  The first time Caroline started crying in her chair, Anna Cate said "Hold Benny Tarawine?" and brought Benny to comfort her.  

She has even initiated Caroline into her book club already! ;)
